How to Study for AP Tests

Get a prep book. There are many useful prep books that contain study material such as practice tests. Some of the popular brands that have up-to-date versions are Barrons and Princeton Review.

Practice. Because it is a practiced test, it is important to see if you can complete many questions under the time pressure. Doing practice tests will also give you a good idea of how questions on the test will be worded.

Identify your study skills. You should be prepared to expect every type of question on the test, regardless of the subject being tested. Some of the popular ones could include definition questions, computations, analysis, etc. Studying for these different types may require different types of study habits. Some people memorize well with flashcards. Learning math concepts can be done practicing similar math problems. Good luck!
